SCHEDULE A PRIVATE BOOK CONSULTATION
If you long for the days when you could leisurely roam the aisles of our store and endlessly browse our bookshelves... join the club. Yeah, we miss that too. Despite a global pandemic that's changed the way we do business, we refuse to let the personal attention and knowledgeable recommendations we offer fall by the wayside. And, that's where our NEW personal book consultations come in.
Think of it as a virtual personal shopping appointment. Whether you are looking for some literary inspiration on what to read next or diving into a genre that's new to you, our booksellers will guide you through a personal selection of titles we think you'll love.
THE PROCESS IS SIMPLE
STEP 1: Visit our Personal Book Consultation scheduling page and pick a date and time that works best for you: CLICK HERE. All consultation appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes and take place virtually via Zoom.
STEP 2: After selecting your appointment date and time, you'll be prompted to complete a questionnaire to share a little bit about yourself and your reading preferences. This information will help us prepare your personal recommendations in advance of your appointment.
STEP 3: To confirm your appointment, a $20 deposit is required. This deposit will hold your appointment and can be applied toward a one-time purchase of books following your consultation. However, please note that this deposit is non-refundable if you cancel your appointment without rescheduling or no show during your scheduled time.
You will receive a confirmation email with details on how to attend your consultation. During your appointment, you will meet with one of our experienced booksellers who will share recommendations for books we think you'll love. From there, we hope you decide to purchase some of your favorite titles and use your $20 deposit as a credit toward your purchase.
